She's always in corners

Trying to hide

Facing horrors

That others denied

She'd always been a person who was preoccupied

That she never paid heed to the warners

She's always lost in a world

where she had no identity

Of fantasies and love

And she's in a corner curled

Reading about doves

What she doesn't realise is that there's more to this life

Than just reading

Like studying

And also books can be misleading

Some can tell you about being gallant

While others show a life of a person who is saddened

And others can tell you treachery right

While a few teach you to be bright

But when she realised

It was too late.
